We're asking you to pay for something you haven't seen yet, from a business you've probably never heard of. A refund policy full of conditions would be a strange way to answer that. So there aren't any conditions.
We'd rather refund a family that isn't delighted than keep $49 and have them feel they got talked into something.
Reply to the email your atlas came in, or write to [[SUPPORT_EMAIL]]. "Refund, please" is a complete message. You don't need an order number, and you don't need a reason.
We'll confirm the same day we see it, and process it right then.
We issue the refund immediately through Stripe. Your bank then takes its own time — usually 5–10 business days for the money to reappear on your statement. That part is out of our hands, but it does always arrive.
The refund goes back to the card you paid with. We can't send it anywhere else.
These aren't refund requests so much as our mistakes to fix:
Your atlas link keeps working. We're not going to take a guide away from a family over $49 — if it's useful to you, use it. If you'd rather we deleted it and everything we hold about your family, say so and we will.
If you're on a paid subscription for trip guides, you can cancel any time and you won't be charged again. The current period keeps working until it runs out. If you cancel within a few days of a renewal you didn't intend, email us and we'll refund that period too.
If your atlas was free, comped, or gifted, there's nothing to refund — but everything else on this page still applies. If it's wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
Please email us before you dispute a charge with your bank. A refund from us takes a minute and reaches you faster than a dispute will. We have never said no to a refund request, and we're not going to start.
